Halcyon uses grade levels rather than the UK system of year groups with placement based on a student's age as of September 1. Our grade structure is as follows: Grade 6 for 11-year-olds, Grade 7 for 12-year-olds, Grade 8 for 13-year-olds, Grade 9 for 14-year-olds, Grade 10 for 15-year-olds, Grade 11 for 16-year-olds, and Grade 12 for 17-year-olds. Please contact us if a student’s age does not align with the typical grade level for placement.
